To the Manor Burton

We will leave Rossett and head towards Dodleston, Bretton and Saltney. We will cross the river at Saltney and cycle towards Garden City on the Dee cycle path. From Garden City we will head towards Shotwick and Saughall along the cycle path to Capenhurst. From Capenhurst it’s quiet lanes all the way to Burton. We will stop at Burton Manor for refreshments.
From Burton we will descend into Neston and make our way back to Saltney across the Marshes and on the Dee cycle path. From Saltney there is a short climb into Kinnerton before a rewarding descent back to our start point.

Lovely route which incorporates a mixture of traffic free cycle paths as well as some quiet lanes. Due to the distance this ride is not suitable for beginners. The average pace will be 9-12mph.

This route will incorporate a mixture of traffic free cycle paths as well as a mixture of quiet lanes. There is one busy main road in Leadsham where we will dismount and use the crossing.

We will stop at the Manor cafe in Burton for refreshments.

Helmets are mandatory. Please also bring a spare inner tube as well as cash or card for the cafe. Please also bring a drink and or snack.
