The ride leaves the parking area behind the Cross Keys Pub and heads down the road towards Eamont Bridge. We will then head to Askham , and Bampton continuing down the side of the reservoir to the end of the road. We will return through Helton back to Askham and retrace our route back. We will always ride at a pace to suit everyone and no one will be left behind. The aim is to have a fun sociable ride,. Remember to wear comfortable clothes that are suitable for the days weather and it is advisable to wear a helmet. It is a good idea to bring a spare inner tube and a drink and snack / sandwich especially as this is a longer ride. We will stop for refreshment on the ride either at the Hawswater Hotel or at a cafe near the end so please bring some money if you wish to do this. If anyone would like to join the ride at Askham that would be possible. Be at the car park at 10:30. I ll send my phone number to anyone that signs up so you can let me know.
