Crook Log Sports Centre Brampton Rd, Bexleyheath Meet outside the main reception

To celebrate International Women's Day, I'd like you to join me for an evenings ride to St Pauls Cathedral to see the Garden of Light in Paternoster Square. It is a floral display of illuminated daffodils paying tribute to the work of the charity Marie Curie. I'll be taking mainly quiet roads/cycle paths, through Blackheath, using the Greenwich foot tunnel to cycle route 3 along Cable st, branching off to St Pauls. Fairly flat but we do have to get up steepish hill at Greenwich, walking is always on option. It will be about 30 miles, leaving promptly at 7pm I would hope to be back by 10.30. There is always the option of catching a train back from Cannon St/Blackheath or else where. Must have decent lights, please check batteries!! Wrap up warmly with a waterproof jacket. Bring your own refreshments or I'm sure there will be cafes around.
