The route from Meon Vale to Shipston is a gentle undulating road with no big climbs. After watching the race we will head through Todenham, Paxford and Edbrington to then enjoy the decent into Mickleton down Baker’s Hill. The return route is about 15 miles with undulations but no stinky hills.

A ride out of 10 miles to get a good spot to watch the Women’s Tour of Britain. Once we have cheered the riders through and had some lunch we will come back via the pretty villages of the North Cotswolds (a different route to last year!)

Country roads

Shipston on Stour - the race is scheduled to pass through here at about 40 mins past 12, so we need to be in position a little before that. Shops, pubs and cafes are available to get lunch after the race has gone by or while we wait.

Plenty of water, sunscreen, a hat and pennies for lunch (or sandwiches if you want to eat at the road side)
