We will head out from Lyndhurst down past Beaulieu Road Station towards Beaulieu itself, where we will stop for tea and cakes. Then we'll head back towards Ashurst up Arters Lawn and Deerleap Lane, before looping back round to Lyndhurst.

This is a nice, relatively easy route with lovely views over the Forest. We will be riding along wide forest roads. Heading from Ashurst to Lyndhurst, we will use the nice cycle path alongside the main road.

We will stop at the Old Bakehouse in Beaulieu. Home to butter drenched teacakes and door stop sized pieces of cake.Don't forget some cake money and a bike lock may also be useful.

This is one of the first rides I did when starting to explore the New Forest. It is ideal for newer riders wanting to try a longer ride.

We will always go at the pace of the slowest rider and will never leave anyone behind.

Riders are expected to wear helmets.
