Tinseltastic Christmas Ride

This is a ride to celebrate the festive season so get your Christmas jumpers out, wrap your bikes in tinsel and let's ride! PRIZE FOR THE BEST DRESSED BIKE AND RIDER! This ride gives you chance to get out into the beautiful country lanes on the outskirts of Northwich and stretch your legs - while still enjoying a chilled-out ride without the need for speed! We’ll start off at Marbury Country Park and head out into the quiet lanes that skirt Anderton, Barnton, Little Leigh and Comberbach - all very leafy and surprisingly peaceful. Our route takes us through Antrobus and Great Budworth, back through Comberbach to Marbury Country Park. The roads and lanes we use on this route are quiet and well-travelled by cyclists and the route itself is fairly flat. This ride is suitable for all bikes. It is recommended that riders bring an inner tube and puncture repair kit just in case. The ride roughly takes two hours cycling time with a couple of pit stops for a drink (and the all-important break for tea and cake so bring a bit of money) so please allow more time just in case the pace is slower than anticipated or we have a puncture. Newcomers to Breeze rides are very welcome, don't worry if you don't know anyone, we're a friendly bunch.   Dress appropriately for the weather: in cool weather it's good to wear lots of thin layers, so you can add/remove them as needed; a rain jacket is a good idea too.
