About the route
Starting point
South Staffs Railway Walk Car Park (Wombourne Station). Plenty of car parking but there is a height barrier.
Table booked at Apley Farm for a festive lunch. Hope to arrive at 12pm. Return to Wombourne 3pm.
This ride allows you to dress yourself and/or your bike up for Christmas - tinsel, lights, santa/elf costumes.
Be prepared for whatever the weather throws at us at this time of year. Be warm, be visible and remember a spare inner!
The route/destination may change depending on the conditions on the day. We need to aim for 10mph to make the day a comfortable ride with no rushing about.
Remember the car park closes at 4pm.
The ride is on roads/lanes so a road or hybrid bike is suitable.
