Time For Tockholes

This ride is only just over 20 miles long, but it has a start that should give us a great fitness boost. The first 7 miles takes us over past Tockholes Village & Winter hill. There are a couple of steep bits in this climb & don't worry if you feel you may prefer to walk these bits - So will I! Once we've done all that hard work we can appreciate some magnificent scenery as we curve over the moors & drop down to Brinscall & from there on to Wheelton, where we'll stop in the village for tea & cakes at the village café. After a well earned rest it's off to Brindle, Hoghton Bottoms, Pleasington & through Witton Park back to the start point.
