Tidenham Diving Centre Ride

Tidenham Diving Centre Route – 29 miles See the route at : http://www.choircycle.co.uk/?p=996 Meet at Choir Hall at 10am Through Portskewett and Sudbrook to Black Rock (photo opportunity of the New Bridge). Climb up through Leechpool before descending down St. Pierre hill to junction opposite the New Inn, Pwllmeyric. Long ascent to Shirenewton before turning sharply down to the Huntsman Inn. Follow road through the valley alongside Mounton Brook to the Racecourse at Chepstow. Up Welsh Street turning into the Castle Dell (photo opportunity of the castle). Over the old Wye bridge climbing Castleford Hill to Tutshill skirting around the lanes to Tidenham Diving Centre (photo opportunity and maybe a cup of coffee). The return journey includes going through Sedbury to Beachley Point (photo opportunity of the Old Severn Bridge, The Ferry Inn and the ferry landing jetty made famous by a visit from Bob Dylan back in the sixties). From Beachley back to Chepstow and through the woods to Bulwark before descending down Dark Hill to Mathern and the Millers Arms. The return journey is concluded via St. Pierre and Portskewett.
