Thursday Steady Ride

Thursday morning now looks fine and we will look to be back before the weather changes. It will be cold so wrap up warm.

The plan is to start from Salto gym in Charlton where there is plenty of free parking for those wanting to arrive by car. From there we will head across town and out through anna valley and the clatfords, back towards Monxton and Thruxton to Weyhill where we will stop for coffee. From there it is a short run back down through Penton back to Charlton and our start.

This is a steady ride and will be ridden at the pace of the slowest rider. We always wait at the top of hills. We will be riding on mostly country roads, but may have a few busier roads to cross or to get across town. However, riding as group feels much safer than riding alone. Newcomers are welcome on all of our rides.

Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions.
As always helmets are compulsory on all of our rides. Please bring a spare inner tube that fits your bike, along with tyre levers and a pump. Don't worry if you can't do a puncture we all muck in.
Bring a little money for the refreshment stop and enough water and snacks for the duration of the ride.
Eye protection and gloves are recommended.
