Three Parks Leisure Ride

A gentle social ride from Kings Park, through Queens Park and then Littledown Park using traffic free paths and short sections of quiet back roads. This ride is low speed and no one gets left behind! There are nice views of the three parks as we trundle along. We'll stop for a few minutes at Littledown Park and then return to Kings Park...

Safety: This is not a particularly hazardous ride, but you do ride at your own risk and are responsible for your own actions. There are some short section on quiet roads with some shared paths where pedestrians have priority. There are some narrow sections which include a shared subway. Some paths are unsurfaced gravel which requires care and there is a short section on grass. It is down hill to Littledown Park and up hill on the return. The route is not suitable for road bikes or young children.

Weather: this ride will not take place if there are strong winds (>20 mph on the BBC website Bournemouth forecast 2 hours before the ride) and/or heavy rain.
