We will take a leisurely amble through Attenborough Nature Reserve on traffic free paths

An easy 3 mile traffic free route, suitable for absolute beginners or those who are returning to cycling. We will take a leisurely amble through Attenborough Nature Reserve. Due to the time of day, the cafés will not be open but we aim to stop for a drink at one of the local pubs which offer soft and hot drinks so please do not be put off by the word ‘pub’! The duration is estimated – it takes as long as it takes as we ride at the pace of whoever is feeling slowest on the day, and you never know when we’re going to have a mechanical! There will also be the option, depending on who comes along, to extend the distance a little if you fancy, have time and are up for it, but there will be absolutely no pressure to do this. Please note that these rides are supposed to be fun so if the weather forecast looks terrible I will cancel the evening before the planned ride.

Entirely traffic free!

Due to the time of day, the cafés will not be open but we aim to stop for a drink at one of the local pubs which offer soft and hot drinks so please do not be put off by the word ‘pub’!

Please dress for the weather, ensure your bike is in good working order and bring with you at least one spare inner tube and a little cash for the social stop. Lights may also be an idea, just in case we overstay! Helmets, while not mandatory, are advised for your own safety.

Ride is especially designed for first timers!
