The route covers the scenic canal towpath at Dobb's Weir and the winding paths of Nazeing Meads, before reaching the River Stort Navigation Path.
It then heads through the Rye Meads, following the NCN1 cycle path to Stanstead Abbots, where it rejoins the River Lea Navigation Path on the NCN61 route back to the meeting point.
