The sun is shining...let's ride :-)

This week we are heading to Rosie’s Tea Room at Pamber End.

Our 50 mile route will take us out of Fleet through Church Cookham, Dogmersfield and Odiham. After climbing Herriard Hill we will try out the new tarmac on the descent to Axford before cycling through North Waltham and Oakley and taking in the beautiful views over North Hampshire on our way to the Elm Park Garden Centre and the tea rooms for a well earned cafe stop.

Our route home will take us through Stratfield Saye and Dipley before returning to Fleet via Hartley Whitney.

NOTE: This ride is for the more experienced rider who is capable of sustaining an average speed of around 13.0-14mph over the distance.

We will meet outside Pedal Heaven Cycle Shop in Fleet at 9.15 so we are ready to set off promptly at 9.30. We are aiming to be back by 2.30. (4 hours cycling / 13mph average).

Please make sure you dress for the weather (not forgetting sun cream!). The wearing of a helmet is mandatory for this ride. Also, as the cafe is more than halfway into our ride, we'll be riding for up to 2.5 hours before our cafe stop so please bring enough food and drink to last you for the ride. Also, bring a spare inner tube and pump.
