The First Pacey Purple overnight expedition to Royal Windsor and Marlow It’s what you have all been waiting for, our very own touring mini break packed with treats and visits and wonderful cycling. Our Royal Princess Miss Claire and Miss Sally will be our personal tour guides during this trip. Having tested of course all of the treats first, of course, to ensure they meet up to our very regal expectations. With a ride of this length (Over 50 miles each way - over two days) we will taking a very comfortable and enjoyable pace. We will aim to take the whole day getting there ensuring we have lots of time to enjoy the sights and tea shops on route. The terrain will all be on road, but clearly a ride of this length there will be a couple of spots where we have to cross some busy stretches. But with the super level 2 leaders we now have, we will be ensuring we get you all there and back safely. You do not need to worry one bit if you have not ridden this distance before, by the time May comes, you will be able to do this without any problems what so ever. We have lots of training rides planned, hill training, weekly Saturday treats, mid-week treats if your free for those. You will be buzzing with excitement to do this. And of course for those of you who did the cycletta, it won’t be very much further than the route. The difference will be it will take us the whole day to ensure we have lots of time for treats. And its gets better, there will more treats on the way back on Sunday. As this is an overnight stop, it is essential you confirm your room requirements with Miss Sally who is coordinating the hotel. We will be bestowing our Royal Charter to Bisham Abbey where we will be spending the night. We have arranged a very Pacey amazing deal for the rooms: £40 a head if you want to share or £62 if you would prefer a room on your own. The only other cost will be for dinner out in the evening, and obvs all the coffee and cake on route. http://www.bishamabbeynsc.co.uk/ You do not need to worry about luggage or how you might beautify yourself in the evening as the Very Honourable Mr Reed Bike Butler for the weekend, has offered to take down any bags down for us. OMG how lucky are we!! The bikes will also be taken care of overnight by the hotel, as they are very much part of our family and we need them all to be spoilt too. Places on this trip are limited to 24 as this is the maximum we can take on a Level 2 ride. We also need to confirm with the hotel the number of rooms we wish to take especially as it’s a Saturday night, by Friday this week. Can’t write the date !!!! It’s the day you don’t walk under ladders. Please ensure you book onto both rides, one to get you there the other to get you back. Full details about the route will be sent to you before the ride.
