The Penkridge Cycle Ramble

Not cycled for a while and looking for an easy way to get back in the saddle? Fancy a fun way to get your friends family and children riding and exploring the countryside? This ride starts from the car park of the Mercure Stafford Hatherton Hotel in Pinfold Lane Penkridge form where we will cycle along Pinfold Lane towards the Swan at Whiston. We will then cycle through Bickford and Lapley before stopping at the Hartley Arms in Wheaton Aston for a well earned drink. (5 miles completed at this stage). We will then follow the return route back to the Mercure Hotel having cycled a total of 10 miles at a steady pace. There are plenty of stopping points along the way. The ride surface is typical country lane, flat with some minor climbs, mud and gravel can be found in places due to agricultural vehicles. This route is suitable for all riders of all abilities.
