Starting at Clifton Country Park, heading downstream and along the old Manchester, Bolton and Bury Canal, before crossing the Irwell and following the Outwood Trail towards Ringley, then returning back across the river.
In a few places you have to dismount and walk, but a great way to explore the Irwell Valley countryside.
