About the route
This is a magical mystery ride but two things are certain - it will all be on roads and there will be hills!
We follow Ashgate Road, drop down to Chatsworth Road, through Somersall to Holymoorside then up Cat Hole onto the tops. Once up, we will keep the height gained and travel across towards Tansley before stopping for lunch at a farm shop or garden centre friending how we feel.
This ride is for ladies who are comfortable cycling on roads and who are wanting to challenge themselves. It's not going to be fast paced as it's been a while since my road bike has seen the light of day however it should get our hearts pumping.
Please bring a spare inner tube, pump and some cash for the cafe stop. Also, layer up appropriately for the weather.
