Lickey Hills Country Park
This 16 mile route explores the country lanes, waterways and sights of south west Birmingham, venturing into the edge of Redditch. Escape the urban environment and experience a countryside feel on this ride through the un-spoilt greenbelt only a few miles out of the city. The numerous cafes and Redditch Forge Mill Museum provide some welcome resting points. There is one very rough section of bridleway that makes this route unsuitable for road bikes; tougher hybrids or mountain bikes are perfect.
