Skipton

This route tales in both sides of the of the Aire valley.  Starting in the market town of Skipton and following the 'old' road toward Bradford; you'll pass under the Leeds and Liverpool Canal and then over the River Aire before starting the Climb up the other side of the valley to be rewarded with some of the best views in the area. The climb up from Cross Hills can be challenging in places and covers a distance of 2 miles, so if you are looking to push yourself this route is the one for you!  After the climb you get 2 miles of rolling hills and great views before you make your descent down into Skipton for a well-earned cuppa!
