The Last of the Sunny Rides?

A shorter route than usual in order to avoid the steepest hills and wettest muddy puddles. There are still some challenging road junctions where care will be needed. Mostly there are quiet lanes and tracks across farmland to enjoy beautiful Northumbrian countryside. Also to enjoy are the tasty cheese scones available at our coffee stop at Make me Rich Farm.
As ever be prepared for adverse weather so bring spare layers to stay warm and dry. Be prepared for mechanical issues by bringing tools and an inner tube.
Most importantly bring a drink so you can stay hydrated on what may be a hot day. Don't forget money, spare food and a bike lock
