Our route will take us through the village of Orston and other picturesque Nottinghamshire villages until we reach the old railway on NCN 64, which is surfaced better than most roads. There will be some short walks through pedestrian areas. We then make our way down to the River Trent, across the lock gates and then passing the castle, make our way back to NCN64.

The Iconic Knife Angel sculpture is in Newark until 20th May. This will be our one and only ride to view it before it departs.

We will ride quiet lanes as much as possible and mainly cycle lanes in Newark. The ride will be suitable for road bikes.

We will stop in the market square in Newark for 30 minutes so there will be time to take photos and buy refreshments if you wish.

We are not nanny, but helmets do provide protection, so we prefer that you wear one

We are a very friendly bunch and you will soon feel like you've known us forever. You will need to keep up a very steady 12 mph but we can have some stops. But be assured you will never be left behind.
