Bexley High Street

You don’t have to be the next Bradley Wiggins, but you’ll need to know your way around a bike and be fairly fit to take part in our Challenging rides. If you’re comfortable riding with other people and fancy a fresh challenge, these rides are perfect for you. They start at around twenty miles long, and are paced at between 11 and 12 miles an hour. The 22 mile Kent Explorer leads you out of Bexley following the route of the River Cray to the south as far as St Mary Cray. It then arcs round to the east to take in some beautiful Kent countryside, passing through both farmland and woodland, before joining the Darent Valley heading North back to Bexley. Full of idyllic villages, lavender fields and castle ruins, this hilly route is definitely picturesque!
