The Kelpies/Falkirk Wheel

Meet at Craigleith and travel out to Dalmeny, Hopetoun, Bo'ness and arrive at The Kelpies at the far side of Grangemouth. If time allows, we'll go along the canal to visit The Falkirk Wheel. Back home via Bo'ness, then up the hill and along the canal to Winchburgh, Kirkliston and back to Craigleith.

A jaunt out west to The Kelpies and, time permitting, we'll visit The Falkirk Wheel.

Mainly quiet roads and cycle lanes, with a couple of miles on (road bike suitable) woody paths.

We'll have some catch-up stops and stop for lunch for an hour or so, at either The Kelpies or, if we make it, The Falkirk Wheel.

Spare innertube (that suits your wheel!) and any tool(s) necessary for removing your wheels. Food and drink as you see fit for a 60 mile trip. Not sure if we'll get an open cafe.
