Making use of the wonderful wagonways across Newcastle and North Tyneside to visit two little hills. Firstly, Rising Sun, a beautiful park where we'll have the chance to leave the bikes and stroll to the top of the hill for a cracking view across the Tyne.
Then a well-earned stop at the Rising Sun cafe for lunch/tea/cake.
Next along the wagonways to Weetslade, and this time we'll try to pedal to the hill for a second viewpoint - including Northumberlandia and the Airport.
