This Leigh Spinners Community Cycling Hub ride is open for anyone to join

The route follows the canal tow path to Astley and then cycle path adjacent to East Lancs to Glazebury which takes us to the delightful Windy Bank which may have an autumnal feel about it.

We rejoin the East Lancs cycle path and cycle to Pennington Flash where we have the option to have a coffee at The Hide cafe and then rejoin the Bridgewater way after a quick spin around the Bee Network paths Leigh Sports Village, returning to Leigh Spinners

Flat ride generally easy going with good maintained paths

Please bring suitable inner tubes for your specific tyre size should you get a puncture.

Bikes and helmet available to borrow if required
