A mostly flat route (apart from castle hill) using Roads and Cycle paths.
We will be stopping for refreshments on the return leg .

Spare tubes, cyclepumps and puncture repair kits are advisable.
Cycle helmets are highly recommended.
Please ensure that all bikes are in roadworthy condition prior to start of the ride .
All timing are estimates and dependant on the abilities of the riders booked on the ride, we always travel at the pace of the slowest rider . *This group averages between 10/12 mph*
Due to the nature of the roads we will be using all riders must be compident when riding amongst fairly busy traffic. Participants safety is always paramount to this group.
Extra time maybe required, dependant on time spent at refreshment stop. We will be using a section of the thames path at Runney, this is due to expected high volume of traffic on the main road at that time of the day, we will be be leaving the towpath, just after Runneymead hotel and joining the cycle path into Staines, before returning to our start location.

*Lights will be required for the return leg, as we will be using roads, with lots of shade in places*
