Leaving Longnor, we soon climb through Crowdencote and Earl Sterndale, then cycle on awesome gravel tracks, alongside the magnificent Parkhouse Hill and Chrome Hill. As we progress, we are treated to sweeping views of Axe Edge and Axe Edge Moor.

Continuing on stunning, quiet country lanes, we pass through Flash Village. These beautiful lanes, with their outstanding vistas, lead us to Blackbrook Nature Reserve. Shortly after, we pass Ramshaw Rocks, descend to Upper Hulme, and head towards the Roaches, arriving at our café stop at the Roaches Tea Room.

After lunch, we cycle alongside Hen Cloud and the Roaches, enjoying spectacular views. The journey then takes us past the stunning scenery of Gradbach Hill and along remote lanes with expansive moorland views. A challenging climb brings us back into Flash Village, where we later pass Thirkelow Rocks and High Edge before eventually arriving back in Longnor.
