We go out towards Ashbury and then thru Idstone to Bishopstone where we turn left and take on Nell Hill. You can challenge yourself and your bike and ride it, or you can walk it; either way at the top you can reward yourself with something nice to much from the Flying Pig before enjoying the air in your face as you go back down the hill and wind our way back to the start via Bourton

Route rating

This is one of our series of rides for those who don't want to go too far, have returned to cycling or just taken it up. This is ride is the one we've been working towards for the last few weeks. and has a few challenging but do-able hills along the way

We will be on B roads and country lanes; Nell Hill is unclassified although we may meet a car or two

Who says Pigs can't fly; there's one at our refreshment stop

Please bring a face mask; you have to wear it on entering a café and in the event of first aid being required. For all our rides you should bring at least a spare inner tube and a pump. If your wheels are bolted on then a spanner that fits the nuts is also essential. Helmets are not compulsory but most definitely recommended. You should dress appropriately for the weather, and consider bringing your mobile phone along with cash or debit card for the coffee stop. this café only takes card payments.

We never leave anyone behind
