This route enchants people who do not know it.
We track the River Irwell with the steam trains passing as we ride, oh not mention 3 waterfalls.
We start and finish at winfields outdoor store it’s a five mile there and back.
The turn point is stubbins.
This is a ten mile ride that can be extended. Many great little paths around this area to put a few miles on.
Super social ride with easy pace taking in the scenery.
Please note in things to bring I have said bring a fiver..
That’s for your snacks etc.
There is no charge for anything related to the ride.

Be quick.... This is one of the best loved social rides in the area. Tracing the East Lancs steam trains down the line to Stubbins and return. There is an opportunity to extend should the group decide.

Mainly traffic free cycle paths and railways lines with the odd road crossing.

Toilets and cafe at the start.

Bring a smile and a helmet and a fiver!!!!
