PA23 7HJ We will head up through the back of the town to the Bishop's Glen where we will skirt round the reservoir and head on to the forestry tracks. This will the lead us up towards the back of John Street where we will descend to Heronlea. We will cross the main road and pick up the Squirrel Trail in the Holiday Village. This takes us behind the caravans, through lovely old woodland and brings us out on the disused part of Cowal Golf Course. We then head along quiet streets and cut down to the seafront, picking up the cycle path to head back to the old pier.

We wont be spending much time on main roads, just using them to join up parts of the route. It will mainly be forest tracks finishing off with a scenic cycle path.

We can stop for plenty of breathers and photos!

Please wear helmets and waterproofs.

We never leave anyone behind
