A lovely route heading out from Bexley along the Cray Road and out towards the North Downs of Kent. We go through the village of Downe past the former home of Charles Darwin then on through Brasted as we loop back in the homeward direction. We will stop at the very cyclist friendly Shoreham Aircraft museum Tea Rooms for refreshment. After our stop we will pass the fragrant smelling Lavender Farm then it is on to the very picturesque village of Eynesford with it's Fjord. On our way back to Bexley we will pass through Farningham, Sutton at Hone and Hextable. There are some hills on this route but none too horrendous and there are a couple of steep descents but it all comes with some fabulous views of the Kent Countryside.
