Join me for a Sunday morning ride through the Ayots & a cafe stop at West End Barns. This is a 25 mile ride & we'll be aiming for an average speed of around 11-12mph.
The ride starts in Marshalswick & we'll head through Symondshyde Woods, Ayot St Peter, Ayot Green, Ayot St Lawrence & Kimpton before our cafe stop at West Ends Barns shortly before the end of the ride (after about 20 miles). The route is mostly on quiet roads & lanes & there are some hills!
Meet at 9.30am outside the Marshalswick Community Centre at The Quadrant. There is a small public car park between the Community Centre and M&S with free parking, and plenty of residential street parking nearby. There are public toilets next to the Community Centre.
Helmets are compulsory on this ride. Please bring water & snacks to drink & munch on route, cash/card for the cafe stop & equipment to deal with any punctures. Please ensure your bike is in good working order and you have an emergency back up or taxi number to call in case of mechanical issues that we can't fix.
