You don’t have to be the next Bradley Wiggins, but you’ll need to know your way around a bike and be fairly fit to take part in our Challenging rides. If you’re comfortable riding with other people and fancy a fresh challenge, these rides are perfect for you. They start at around twenty miles long, and are paced at between 11 and 12 miles an hour. Come and join us on this ride that follows the most delightful lanes in South West Hertfordshire. A circular route at just over 27miles this route is perfect for those wanting to cover a bit of a distance at a nice pace.  The route crosses 5 village greens at Ley Hill, Bovingdon, Chipperfield, Sarratt and Croxley Green along the way before a well deserved refreshment stop at Chipperfield village hall.  The hall was built in memory of two men of the Blackwell (of Crosse and Blackwell fame) Family who died in WW1.
