PLEASE NOTE - YOU CANNOT JUST TURN UP TO COME ON THIS RIDE - I HAVE SET A LIMIT AND YOU HAVE TO BE BOOKED ON TO COME, THANK YOU

*THIS IS A RIDE SOCIAL OPEN TO ALL ADULTS*

You must bring adequate clothing, food and puncture repair kits. This is a very remote ride. There are hills, but nothing eyewateringly steep. It will be windy. I have done this ride before so if you're unsure of anything, do message me. If the weather looks as if it's going to be terrible, then I'll cancel the day before.

This is a Ride Social so I'm not leading the ride, just co-ordinating it.

A bit of an adventure - a trip up to Nant Rhys Bothy, high in The Cambrian Mountains!

All forestry tracks with a short section of mountain bike type trail (this is flat, but rough). I will probably walk this bit, but perfectly rideable if you're braver than me. When we get to the bothy, we will stop and have a break before heading back.

This will be a very relaxed, touring pace ride. We will stay as a group. I'm sorry but I do not expect people to rush ahead out of sight and communication, this is not what my rides are about. Due to the terrain on this ride, this will be more important than ever.

We are here to work together, support each other and we will cycle at the pace of the slowest rider so you must be prepared to do this.

We will stay together as a group but WE MUST MAINTAIN 2M DISTANCING AT ALL TIMES AS WELL AS ADHERING TO THE FOLLOWING:

(1) When booking your place on the ride, please ensure that you have completed all the contact details. We will need these should anyone who is on the ride subsequently become aware of Covid19 symptoms so that we can follow the guidelines in the ‘Trace, Test and Protect’ program.

(2) Should you, or anyone in your household, become aware of Covid19 symptoms after booking, please cancel your place on the ride.
Also, please do not book a place on the ride should you, or anyone in your household, be suffering from any of the following symptoms –
New continuous cough
High temperature
Loss of, or change to, your normal sense of smell or taste (anosmia)

(3) You will need to be self-sufficient on the ride i.e. please bring your own tubes, pump, tools, food and drink etc. as sharing raises the risk of spreading Covid19

(4) Please bring hand sanitiser and gloves.

(5) We will keep socially distanced on the ride, so please adhere to this.

(6) Before the ride we will need to confirm that since the time of booking you are not now suffering from any Covid19 symptoms.

(7) If you experience symptoms after the ride, you should get a Covid19 test. If this is positive, you need to contact the ride co-ordinator as quickly as possible to enable the Track, Trace and Protect procedure.

Helmets essential, e-bikes (though see my note above about staying as a group) and first timers always welcome :-)

Any questions do please message me :-)
