Temple Newsam Car Park - through gatehouse - on right. Follow Main Entrance - park immediately on right. Other carparks available - ride starts from gatehouse carpark. FREE parking.

Park paths plus off-road route - 6-8 miles This is an ideal taster for anyone wanting to have a shot at basic off-road.  The rtoute will include paths and a few hills at a pace of 8-11mph. If you haven’t used your bike in a while you might want to take it to your nearest female friendly bike shop for a service. The ride is suitable for hybrid, mountain bikes, shopping bikes and tourers.  It is NOT appropriate for road bikes. Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then.  Please note all children under the age of 18 MUST wear a helmet.
