This traffic free route follows forest paths and canal paths from Temple Newsam Park to St. Aidens bird sanctuary. The route is entirely traffic free and is suitable for mountain bikes, gravel bikes and hybrid bikes with off road tyres.

We stop at the halfway point at the Bird Sanctuary cafe, for a quick drink and maybe a snack, there are toilets at the start, the end and at the sanctuary.
