This is an lovely traffic free "off road" ride, that uses park trail and canalpaths to ride between Temple Newsam and The Royal Armouries, and of course back again.
For this ride you will need a hydrid (32mm+ tyres), gravel, or mountain bike, as many sections can be slippery and road bike tyres will struggle. eBikes are welcome, however there is a part of this route where you will need to push your bike up some steps in a bike gully. eBikes will walk mode will find this easier.
Sorry, due to terrain and width restrictions, no tricycles or stablisers.
COFFEE, CAKE and Toilets - We will stop briefly at the armouries for a takeaway coffee, cake will be available for those who need the energy. Toilets are available at the start, the middle, the armouries the middle bit again and the end. Please ask the ride leader, it's unlikely that you'll be the only one who wants to stop.
