Technology to industry

Starting in front of the apartment building Sovereign point, we will ride around the quays and then make our way through Media city and onto Trafford park. There are cycle lanes on most of the ride so it is mostly off road.
I plan to travel as far as we get in just 1 hour, then turn around and head back.
There is a makers market on in Salford Quays so we could finish there and hopefully enjoy a warm drink and a look around if anyone is interested.
Parking is available in the Lowry and is payable, but not expensive.

A bit of a last minute decision to put on a ride this Sunday. An informal social ride for people of all abilities.

Using designated cycle paths and lanes we will explore Salford quays, Media City and part of Trafford Park. The surfaces are all good and unless there is rain, it shouldn't be muddy.

It is advisable to bring refreshments, although there is a makers market on in Salford Quays, but it would be on the completion of the ride that we could stop there. There will be occasion stops for moments of test and an agreed stop to enjoy our own refreshments.

Helmets are strongly advised. Suitable clothing for the weather conditions. A drink, maybe a warm one too and some cash/card in case we stumble across a cafe.
