About the route
A lovely day out at RHS Gardens at Harlow Carr with tea and cake at Betty's Tearooms. We leave Menston and cycle to Otley, heading out towards Pool in Wharfedale. Next we use the lovely quiet roads along the Wharfe river through Castley and Weeton. A climb then up to North Rigton and on to Beckwithshaw. Harlow Carr is a short distance beyond this. The return journey is via Leathley and Farnley so we have a few hills to climb! Return to Menston via Otley.
