Tavistock Loop

Starting at Coypool P&R, we will follow the Plym Trail and turn off through Horrabridge, following Route 27 and then back into Tavistock, for refreshment at Church Lane Cafe before continuing on Route 27 back to Coypool.

We will ride up the Plym Trail from Coypool P&R to Yelverton, then loop around into Tavistock for a coffee stop. The homeward journey will follow the cycle trail back to Coypool.

There are a few hills on the lanes just the other side of Tavistock, but most of the route is a steady gradient along old railway lines.

Please bring a spare inner tube that fits your bike, lights for the tunnels, water and snacks.
