About the route
Ride out along Tram Road, via Lostock Hall, Whitestake, Midge Hall, Croston, Mawdesley and pause in Rufford. Then continue via Holmeswood, Mere Brow, along Blackgate Lane, Green Lane, Taylor's Meanygate, Hundred End Lane and turn right into Shore Road. Continue along it until it becomes Station Road and Hesketh Lane. Coffee at Chocolate Rooms.
Return via Church Road, Blackgate Lane, Green Lane, Sollom, Bretherton, Hoole, Longton bypass and Penwortham.
