The ride is a lovely, mostly flat route taking in four/five parks and we also cycle past the famous Leyland Tank.

This route consists of mostly cycle paths / lanes / trails and quiet roads. There are a couple of busy roads to cross but we will stick together.
There are a couple of trails on this route that in bad weather are definitely more suited to hybrid/gravel bikes. Please get in touch with me before you book on if you’re not sure on your bike suitability.

Will be aiming to ride around 8-11 miles per hour, however we will ride to the pace of the slowest in the group and NO-ONE will be left behind.

There is a cafe stop en route just over half way so please bring some pennies if you wish to make a purchase.

Bringing a snack is always advisable, along with a drink.
Please check your bike over the night before, at least checking the gear, tyres and brakes.
Please also bring a correctly fitting helmet and the correct sized inner tube for your bike.

This is a community group ride, not a guided ride. Although I am an experienced group rider and have ridden the route before, I have not risk assessed it and am not a qualified leader or first aider. I will happily assist with any issues to the best of my ability, but please ensure you have alternative transportation home in case of any mechanical that cannot be resolved en route. I try to keep to cycle paths and quiet roads and lanes where possible, however busy roads cannot be avoided completely and there are the associated hazards that go with these.
