The Tame Valley trail is a 27km route with 600 meters of elevation along Byways, Bridleways and country lanes which includes some tough climbs and descents along a mixture of terrain.

Explore the Tame Valley around the towns of Stalybridge and Mossley in east Tameside. The valley is criss-crossed by Bridleways and Country lanes including the Pennine bridleway and the Tame valley way. The valley sits in the South Pennines and on the edge of the Peaks District so is an ideal place for a morning.

An off road mountain bike will be needed for the ride as we will riding along byways, bridleways and country lanes that will be we rocky, wet and very muddy in parts.

During the ride we will stop as and when is needed with the slowest rider setting the pace, This is a social ride so will be riding at steady pace.

Helmets are compulsory ( No helmet no ride ) A fully working mountain bike, either hardtail or full suspension. Gloves are recommended Spare inner tube, pump etc Spare warm clothes and waterproofs Food and Drink Money
