Starting point

Devon
PL20 6AE

Starting from Yelverton the route makes its way to Brentor Church passing through Horrabridge and the former 2nd World War Field hospital at Plasterdown. A left turn at the church and a flat run through Hayedown and Longcross allows the distant views to be taken in, before gently climbing to Ramsdown Quarry the highest point of the route. Now a roller coaster of a ride through country formerly owned by the Dukes of Bedford, that takes us down to the river, and the Royal Inn Horsebridge, for our refreshment stop. Next a gentle meandering climb to Chipshop and on to Tavistock, where there is a mile section of the A386 before the Drakes Trail and our starting point at Yelverton

No rush, average speed around 10mph
