Starting at Hay Lodge car park, we'll head east to Lyne Station, Dawyck, Tweedsmuir, Talla, Megget Water, Gordon Arms, Traquair, possibly Innerleithen, and back to Peebles.

Sorry, short notice, but anyone fancy having a go at 'The Wall of Talla'? Early weather forecast looks kind.

This route is mostly quiet roads and cycle paths.

Well stop at The Gordon Arms, but I think that's around the 36 mile mark, so bring snacks to keep you going. We may veer into Innerleithen for a possible cafe stop.

As mentioned, bring snacks and a spare inner tube or two, and have any tooling required to remove your wheel. Make sure your bike/tires are in decent nick. (Maybe I shouldn't use that word
