Tale of Two Parks

Come and join like-minded ladies on this mostly traffic free ride starting from Pennington Hall Car Park. The route will follow the Leeds Liverpool Canal for a while before branching off on a track which will take us to Three Sisters Country Park.  We will then follow a cycle path through the park before joining a quiet road up to the Harrow Inn where we will have a stop and refreshments or maybe lunch. We will then take the main road for approximately a mile before joining the canal towpath again to take us back to Pennington Park. The ride is approximately 18 miles and is suitable for hybrids and mountain bikes although if there has been a lot of rain recently there would be some muddy puddles to add to the fun!! It might be advisable to wear waterproofs. We always go to the pace of the slowest and are not too proud to push up any inclines if necessary. There will be plenty of rest stops and time to chat!! It's advisable to bring along a drink and a spare inner tube just in case (if you don’t have one don’t let this stop you from taking part). Also please wear a helmet and make sure you have suitable clothing.
