Swinford - Lutterworth - Welford

This is a ride in two halves!  The first half is a 9.7 mile loop from Swinford through South Kilworth, Walcote and then back to Swinford. It goes through the beautiful grounds of Stanford Hall and takes in a couple of (small) local hills before returning to Swinford. The second half is an 11 mile loop from Swinford to Welford, South Kilworth and back to Swinford. This is more challenging, taking in our famous local hill climb at Cold Ashby. Continue on this loop if you like a challenge! We will ride at a steady pace of 8 - 10 mph and have a pint in the pub at the end. Please bring a waterproof with you and extra layers in case you need them. Helmets are not compulsory but they are advisable. If you don't have one, don't worry, come along anyway and see how you get on. If you have an inner tube please bring that along too. The landlord of The Chequers has very kindly to let us meet in his car park. However if you are arriving by car please don't park in the car park itself.
