The route takes in just under 10 miles of great cycle paths. Starting from Swindon 105.5 in Liden and out east over the fantastic White Hart Bridge. There's a small climb up over the busy roundabout - over the A420 and under the A419; but your climb is rewarded with amazing views of the Ridgeway. After edging past this popular shopping district, you intersect the path leading to the nearby Gablecross Police Station passing through South Marston and the peaceful countryside. Other sights of interest include Oxford University's new Bodleian Library storage facility, Oxleaze Woods and the SEVOR solar farm. The route passes Nightingale Woods where you can explore it’s Trim Trail, bird hide and Dog Dip before arriving at Roves Farm. Roves Farm is a great stopping point to meet and feed the animals and there’s a fabulous tea room there too! You return via the same route back to Swindon 105.5 studios

How about joining a guided Ride that start live on local radio. We've teamed up with Swindon's 24 hr community radio station Swindon 105.5 for the start of this ride at their studios next to Liden library at the end of Barrington Road

Most of this route is on traffic free cycle paths or trails. There is some short bits on quiet or residential roads

The coffee stop will be Roves Farm, which we will access via Nightingale Woods. We will leave Roves Farm to complete a circuit of the woods before joining our main route back

Please bring a face mask; you will only have to wear it in the event of first aid being required. For all our rides you should bring at least a spare inner tube and a pump. If your wheels are bolted on then a spanner that fits the nuts is also essential. Helmets are not compulsory but most definitely recommended. You should dress appropriately for the weather, and consider bringing your mobile phone . Roves farm are only accepting card payments at the moment

We especially welcome newbies!
