Breeze Tracks of the Ironmasters event

This is a ladies and children's ride that starts in Whitehaven then wends it's way up the Sustrans national cycle route up to Cleator Moor, where there is a cycling led event. Starting at 11:00 am and finishing at 3:00 pm the event is to celebrate the history of the cyclepaths that we are so lucky to have. You'll be following in the historical tracks of the old iron ore trains, and be met by the fantastic musical Boom Bike at Moor Row which will escort you on the final leg of your outward ride into Cleator Moor in grand musical style. There will be at the same time another ride led by the team from Cyclewise. The pace will be easy so no one is left behind.There is no rush as there is plenty of time to reach the main event and we shall just enjoy the ride. This ride is for all types of riders old and new and of course children are all welcome with a responsible adult. The ride does have a slight incline for part of the way but it's no bother and is mostly on the cycle path apart from the first part when we have to make our way through built up areas to reach it. Please bring a spare inner tube, just in case and some water and please arrive at least 15 minutes early so we can get ourselves all organised.
